.... It's a bit surreal. As I type this.

With all of the chaos going on outside.

It's quiet where I am.

Been on the run for.. I don't know?

Since I managed to leave No Man's Land two days ago.

My suitcase took a knife for me. Shame.

I liked that suitcase. But, bonus: free knife.

I'm hiding out somewhere for now. Just though I'd check in, hope Jack is reading my posts.

Probably dealing with her own mess right now, knowing her.

I don't know who that Advocate guy was. Seems like some sort of troublemaker, but that's  not my business.

I need to get to Red.

To Lilith.

I guess in a way, I'm going home.

Red. I'm coming home.

Is what I would say, if the Board was just a normal mega conglomerate. They're a bit more particular than that. Loud shuffling. Clatter of closet doors. Drawers rustling. It’s breaking my concentration. Over.. Whatever the hell I’m signing at my desk. It looks like it’s requisition forms. Or some shit. Until I got fucked over sideways by upper management. So, bit of background information. They call me Section Chief. I'm about as middle management as you can get for something like the Board.   Big men upstairs in a suit. Long hours. Horrible, inhumane practices. The pay isn't bad, and I get to make my own hours. But, that was before I got saddled with a special case. The Golden Girl of the upper echelons. Dia Renalda. I call her Red. Little spitfire with hair to match.
